About Classic Ski School

Classic Ski School Harrachov is a private subject offering you complex ski and snowboard services. It offers rent of ski and snowboard equipment rental, own ski test centrum with the widest offer in the Czech Republic. Sells skies and sport equipment under trade mark www.levnelyze.cz and operates ski lifts and skiservis. Its main activity is ski and snowboard classes. Classic ski school is a member of APUL (The Association of Professional Ski Instructors) and by means of it provides professional education to its own ski instructors. There is approximately 100 of professional ski and snowboard instructors, workmans in rent and skiservis points and on operating lifts. Its main partner and sponsor is SALOMON. The proud sponsor of our children school is OPAVIA-LU (Kraft Foods). Together with Classic Ski School Rokytnice n. J. it owns CLASSIC OUTDOOR company and Rope Course Proud Harrachov. Classic ski school focuses on outdoor activities such as rafting, hiking, climbing, biking, rope activities and teambuilding.

Every year our school streangthens its team by recruiting new ski and snowboard instructors. We would like to adresss all of you interested in very attractive work in mountains in our team of young people. You have a chance to join your favorit sport and job into one and become professional ski or snowboard instructor. We also offer enforcement for ex-racers and ski trainers in our local junior ski club. In few next sentences we would like to introduce to you all responsibilities and pleasures of this job!

We offer ful or part time emplayment, students can work on their prior arranged terms, as well. Applicant should be a holder of an accredited licence (ISIA members licence, national ski ski federacy licence or university college ski licence etc.). Classic Ski School is a member of ski school chamber APUL and through this organisation we can provide required education for job applicants without any license. Course "C" that takes place between 10.12. - 19.12. 2010 in Harrachov is recommended. Price is 7.990 CZK. Endowed price is 5.490 CZK for incoming Classic Ski School ski instructors. Endow requirement is a work commitment of at least 100 hours in following years. We can also provide endowed snowboard APUL courses that take place in Špindlerův Mlýn and Pec pod Sněžkou.

This season for the first time. Instructors will commit another 1.000 CZK for full-time job from 20.12. 2010 till 31.3. 2011.

We require proffesional approach, communicativeness, responsibility and because of the majority of our foreign clients we await English and German languageknowledge Dutch, French, Polish and Arabic is also appreciated. Excellent salary and equipment for these who meet these criteria. Additional work opportunities in ski rental and skiservice available for the most hardworking employees.

Full season Instructors with possitive relation to children and good language knowledge are seeked for our children ski school. For those compettitive salary. The classes run on everyday basis Group classes usually begin on Sundays and Mondays. You can work 4, 6 and more hours per day. You will teach in groups, small groups and private lessons are also frequent. Children lessons are mostly made on principles of the game and take place on perfectly equipped children playgrounds. Carneval, competitions, ski safari and races with sweet awards and diploma in the end are obvious. Snowboarding is tought only in small groups, cross country skiing lessons are usually given as private lesson.

On top of the teaching we offer you a work opportunity during shows, testing and teambuilding events that take place in czech mountains and Alpes. Accomodation is provided in Harrachov lodging facilities, board is for favourable prices, company clothing is provided. You can borrow old skies for teaching beginner classes and from time to time VIP racing skies available to borrow for free. You can benefit from our ski test centrum for our ski e-shop. We can make buying new skies, snowboards and accesories advantageous for you (40-50% discount). Servis and waxing of your skis is also free.

In your free time you can ski free of charge in the whole Harrachov ski area. Our school provides illuminated slalom slope with lift suitable for training in poles, that are also available. There is also a small snowboard park (jumps, rail etc.).

Compulsory part of your job is to attend twice a weeek night skiing lessons that helps you to improve your skiing skills, practice methodical excercises and get you ready for antoher step in further education in this field. (More in our fotogallery)

All foreign applicants (with the exemption of Slovak rep.) are reqiores to submit together with the application pasport No. And copy of passposrt, birth certificate notarized translation (see below), No. Of Social insurance, birth number or it equivavelnt, permanent residence address and date of birth. The processing fee is 1.000,- CZK (approx. 42 €).

How to obtain certified translation of your birth certificate: Send notarized copy of your B-certificate by regular mail to the translation agency (www.skrivanek.cz). All your questions regarding the translation will be answered via email at liberec@skrivanek.cz

english/deutch (within 3 days) cca 400,- CZK = 17 €
polish (within 7 days) cca 500,- CZK = 21 €
dutch (within 2 weeks) cca 700,- CZK = 29 €
