Fields covered with powdery snow and fresh wind is the best invitation to try a relatively young sport SNOWKITING one of the fastest growing exciting winter sports Unsused flat snow covered fields together with the mountain hills and wind power at a minimum of 3 m/s offer great oportunity to enjoy unique feeling and amazing fun. Using a kite you can just cruise around in the open field or burst some big air by freestyle tricks, jumps and turns

In comparison with downhill skiing and other similar sports snowkiting offers more options. You can ride downhill, uphill or just move across the snow field, and moreover, you can jump into the big heights. You can either snowkite with skis or a snowboard.

Due to hazards and dangers related to the snowkiting we strongly recommend to start with snowkiting in our courses. The courses are designed to help you to learn all necessary skills to practise exciting sport in a safe way. Throughout the course you will be provided with trainer equipment appropriate to your skills and weather conditions as well as the teaching needs. This also gives you a chance to test different equipment; such experience will help you to choose your own equipment.

Our courses follow the IKO - International Kitebording Organization - methodology. Since 2001, there are IKO affiliated kiteboarding and snowkiting schools and centres in more than 40 countries around the World. Students will be certified with the internationally recognised IKO Snowkiter card which gives the green light into the dreamworld. As a benefit resulting from membership in the IKO you can borrow or test different equipment in all accredited centres and you do not need to explain anyone how experienced rider you are, where you were certified and what you have learnt.

Courses

We provide three levels of courses according to the intensity of training. Basic Course for the group up to 5 people per instructor, Intensive Course with two trainees per instructor and Private Course providing one to one training. Individual courses are not limited in the duration, after completeing specified number of lessons students reach one of the levels of IKO training. Our courses follow the IKO training sylabus. Let’s start with one-day Discovery, getting to three-day Intermediate Course heading for five-day Independent Level Course. We also provide advanced courses such as Freestyle Chalenge Course or Speed Rider Course.

The courses take place in Harrachov and its surroundings located in the western part of the Giant Mountains (Krkonoše). For those living in Trutnov or eastern Giant Mountains (Krkonoše) we recommend surroundings of Prkenný Důl. Both areas offer enough spots so that we can always find ideal weather conditions.
